Setting up 2-Factor Authentication on a Mobile Device

On your mobile phone go to the app store/play store and download Google Authenticator.

On a computer, open a web browser and go to my.umo.edu and sign into the UMO Login page with your username and password. You will then be prompted to choose which type of mobile phone you have. Make your selection and press Continue.

You will then see a QR code.

Open the Google Authenticator app and choose Scan a QR Code and it will open your phone’s camera. Scan the QR code and the authenticator app will create a 6 digit code. Enter that code into the One Time Passcode field and press Continue.

You will see the following notice and you are finished enrolling in 2 factor mobile authentication.
